Veteran. Storyteller. Producer. Creative builder. For Kevin, creating isn’t simply about getting a project made—it’s about building something honest enough to stay with an audience after the lights go down.
A product of parents Liz and Bruce and a kid whose story stretches from Kissena Boulevard in Queens and Ozone Park to New Jersey, Kevin remembers grittier days, including sharing a bed with his two younger brothers.
His love of performance arrived early. At just 19, he directed and played Othello—an experience that helped crystallize something he’d already begun to understand: he didn’t want to simply watch stories.
He wanted to bring them to life. That journey has included military service, writing, producing, directing and the resilience required to build ambitious independent projects when money, time and resources aren’t always plentiful.
In just two-and-a-half years, Kevin and his team of Gress, Thorpe, Poling, Wesly, Harper, Trinidad,Boyd,Trucco, Rich and LeBlanc all have amassed 28 wins, 35 nominations and a Bronze Telly Award, with projects including Silent Room, Shadow Docket, Diner of Darkness and This Stitching Will Last. To upcoming IP’s Remote Outpost, Orson Swells, Shakespeare’s Kitchen and ORISKANY.
But ask Kevin about those accomplishments and his philosophy remains decidedly team-first: “No me without the we.”
Next, he’s going bigger with THE GIANT, a planned five-season neo-Western crime drama following a towering small-town sheriff confronting murder, corruption and a buried family legacy.
The growing cast includes Sunny Leone, Jake Busey, Lucia Malavaze and Theresa Ivancik, with Charlie Parish choreographing the project’s visceral stunt and fight work.
For Kevin, the definition of success has changed along the way. Recognition is gratifying, but today it’s about meaningful work, trusted collaborators and finishing what he starts.
And perhaps that’s the real story behind all those wins: persistence turning vision into momentum.
