For Coral Mizrachi, acting has never been a career choice—it has always been a calling.
Long before she signed with her first agent at just 13 years old, her kindergarten teacher predicted that the energetic two-year-old would one day become an actress. Years later, that prediction feels remarkably fitting.
“I’ve always wanted to be an actress,” Coral says. “It’s the only time the world disappears and I feel actually alive.”
That passion has taken her from childhood dreams to an exciting international career in television, film, and theater. One of her most rewarding experiences has been portraying Lati in the hit sci-fi series The Ark. Joining the cast in Season 2 and returning for Season 3, Coral embraced the opportunity to play a complex character whose motivations challenge audiences to look beyond good and evil.
“No villain thinks they’re the villain,” she says. “That’s what makes Lati so interesting.”
One unforgettable moment came while filming The Pendragon Cycle. Expecting visual effects to create the illusion of danger, Coral instead found herself surrounded by real flames, Viking warriors, stunt performers on fire, and complete on-set chaos. “When I got home bruised and smelling like smoke,” she laughs, “I thought, ‘Yeah… this is really happening.’”
Today, Coral continues to expand her career with the highly anticipated third season of The Ark, the upcoming Serbian romantic comedy Only Him (Samo On), and the stage production New Love, where she stars opposite her husband, Boris Lukman. The play is preparing for a European tour following a successful run in Belgrade.
As her career has grown, so has her confidence. Rather than worrying about what casting directors want, Coral now focuses on bringing honesty and imagination to every performance. “I don’t think about what ‘they’ want anymore,” she says. “I focus on my art and my creativity.”
Looking ahead, Coral hopes to continue creating meaningful work while remaining true to herself—a philosophy that has guided her from the very beginning. For an actress who has always believed she was exactly where she was meant to be, the future looks every bit as exciting as the journey that brought her here.
