Founded in 2007, 49th Parallel Films has grown into an award-recognized production company known for producing dramas, thrillers, action, suspense, documentaries, commercials, and branded content. Based in Washington, DC, the company reflects Corleone’s hands-on creative approach: he isn’t simply overseeing projects from a distance, he’s shaping them at every level—from concept development and directing to cinematography and editing. That all-in approach has helped define a visual style inspired by filmmakers like Antoine Fuqua, Michael Bay, and John Woo, while still allowing Corleone to carve out a cinematic identity of his own.
For Corleone, filmmaking has never been a casual hobby. It has always been the plan. Now, one of the biggest chapters ahead is BLINQ 2, the feature-length continuation of Corleone’s 2022 short BLINQ, which was released through Filmhub and made available across multiple VOD platforms including YouTube, Roku, Fawesome, and iBossTV. Corleone says the new film is currently in development, with a focus on expanding the original short into something bigger, more emotionally engaging, and more cinematic than the first chapter. The goal is to take the tension, atmosphere, and street-level stakes that made BLINQ work and build them into a feature that can stand confidently on its own.
